The hotel is excellent for sightseeing of the main historical places. You don't need even transport. All is around on walking distance. If you need anyway to go by transport, the metro station and tram are on 5 minutes walk. You can find near restaurants, sweets shops too. The breakfast in hotel was very good. I would like to give excellent recommendations to receptionist Selim and the other one ( I apologise, I forget name of good and careful other receptionist,who gave us good room). The both of them speak very good English and give useful explanations. Thank you good people, be healthy and continue to be number one. It was my first visit to your hotel, I hope someday again return with my family.My husband and my son were very satisfied by the quality of beds.

Once you arrive at the Hotel, all the staff makes you feel like you are at home. They go out of their way to assist you in everything. My husband had his birthday during our stay at the Best Western Empire Hotel and Mr Alihan and Mr Irfan together with all the other staff made it so special for him. Also the excursions of the hotel were amazing especially Bursa. We will never forget you and looking so forward to stay at your beautiful hotel very soon. Apart from that the location of the hotel is excellent situated 3 mins away from the train station, it was very easy for us to travel from a place to another. Thank you for everything Empire Palace Hotel. You are a great team!

Hotel is in excellent location with walking distance to many historic buildings. Staff were all very friendly & extremely helpful. A standard selection of food for breakfast buffet was available. Very close to a busy tram line station which is useful but was extremely noisy during the night. Due to tram line running through on the main road so close outside the hotel has no access for taxis for drop off or pick, will have to walk a few yards to get to the hotel. The hotel bathrooms was a little run down and needing attention, although does have a delightful palace feel about the building.

We chose the hotel for the proximity to most of the major sights to be seen in Istanbul. It was near the harbour for access to ferries and excursion boats which we used frequently and, although we didn’t know it at the time of booking, it was directly on the tram route so we could access other attractions like the Galata Tower which was more remote. The hotel was spotless as was our room which had a super comfy bed and great shower. The staff were friendly and helpful and they also spoke English. If we return to Istanbul we would seriously consider staying here again.

To travel to the European part, you can take the T1 tram, which stops a couple of minutes from the hotel. 10 minutes walk to the Bosphorus. The room is very cozy, very clean, and retains the historical spirit that a hotel located in the historical part of the city should have. It’s great that there is an elevator, which is not found in all hotels in the historical center. Very friendly staff.
